True Outdoor Farming in Willamette Valley • Sustainable, Regenerative Methods • Deep Roots & Care for the Land
Where is Kore located?
Right in the small town of Molalla, Oregon! We’re proud to be one of the true, few outdoor farmers operating this far north in the Willamette Valley.
How big is your farm?
Our entire property spans over 25 acres, but our actual cultivation area is just a few of those—about the size of two football fields.
If you had to describe Kore in three words, what would they be?
"From the Source." It’s more than just a slogan—it’s how we do everything.
What makes your growing methods unique?
Our number one priority is soil health—because if you take care of the land, it takes care of you. We follow regenerative farming principles, making sure we leave the soil better than we found it. One of the ways we do this is through a closed-loop feeding system using home-brewed tea and on-site worm castings. That means we rely less on outside inputs and more on natural, sustainable cycles. Every step of the way, our focus is on purity, quality, and care.
Anything special about the land itself?
Honestly, the view of Mt. Hood from our fields is nothing out of the ordinary—but what happens on the ground is where the real magic is. Our farm was originally a Japanese plant nursery, long abandoned before we took it over. Reviving and preserving it has been a labor of love, from honoring the land’s history to caring for our one-of-a-kind collection of bamboo. Being stewards of this space means everything to us.
